TEAM SANDEEPANS thanks all Members who reposed overwhelming faith in us during the election held on 13 August. We especially thank those members who travelled long distances to come to vote for us. We assure you that we will live up to your expectations.
We wish to place on record our appreciation for the Returning Officers and Independent Observer for ensuring a fair and impartial election. Col N P S Mann who was Returning Officer throughout, displayed exemplary firmness and judgement in dealing with pressures. Col Surjeet Singh and Col KK Kaushal who were Returning Officers for some period of the process also made significant contributions. Col R C Jaswal performed commendably as Independent Observer.
A Special word of thanks must go to the members of the Ad Hoc Committee who have administered the Society from 19 June 2017 till today. Nominated at random by the Registrar, they rose to the occasion. In the short period at the helm, they started the process of getting the neglected Lawns and Gardens revived on war footing, planted trees and perennial plants, painted the Speed Breakers, repaired sink holes in the roads and dealt with the water crisis by deepening the Bore Well. They worked behind the scenes to ensure the smooth conduct of elections. Thank You, Col V K Seth,VSM, Col Surjeet Singh, Col Ranjit Singh, H/ Capt G C Bhatt and Mrs Neeraja Mohan.
We would also like to thank the Managements of Brig Sarjit Singh and Col S K Chauhan for their contribution to the Society. We will look forward to their support and advice over the next three years.
Today, on the auspicious occasion of Independence Day and Janamashtmi, we take over the Management of the Society, with great humility. Together, we will work for the betterment of Sandeep Vihar.
